Where dreams go to sleep...

Here you'll find items that otherwise might be (or were previously) removed from the site, but are worth guilting myself over not giving them enough love. They're probably mostly still getting at least incidental attention in the form of tweaks or occasional writing, but while they're fully-formed ideas, there's only so much headspace to dedicate and they're sipping coffee in the corner bistro table of my mind while everything else parties on the floor.

Eyes of the Moon – A magical platformer with a lot of heart.

A bespectacled child in red robes stands in a room with a jumping puzzle, a small white hole behind him.

Join a young boy named Lutie and his sidekick White on an adventure of magical mayhem! With a dream of being one of the cool kids, Lutie decides to become a wizard and is tasked by a light from the sky to fulfill a prophesy. Lutie must brave (loosely speaking) several old dungeons full of traps and enemies to find magical crosses stolen by wizards of old and return them to their rightful places to begin purifying the world's stale magical energies!

Learn and equip multiple spells at a time to burn, zap, freeze, and sheep your way through the dangers that lie before you!

Ghost in the Machine – An RPG for retro handheld fans.

A battle scene where a teenaged girl in tennis garb spins and sets a floating effervescent mass on fire. Other party members include a young boy, a tuxedo cat, and a knight.

Ghost in the Machine is done in various palettes to simulate the look you grew up with and remember most fondly, or the one you wish you'd had. The game itself is like nothing those handhelds ever saw, with a complex story and systems, optional characters and content, and other hallmarks of what would have been on a console at the time. Guiding Lights: Winter – Antiheroes unite!

A school hallway in cold colors with breath visible at the bottom of the viewable area.

Thomas suffers a curse from an ill-fated bid for additional power: so long as he wears his blue shell ring, he will live half in the frozen, unfinished World of Winter. However, should he ever take his ring off, even his original Power of Blades will be stolen from him. With the exiled ruler-by-default of the World of Winter trying to make his way back to Earth, he needs that, and all the help he can get.

Even if he'd like to strangle them sometimes.

Guiding Lights: Winter takes place during the same timeframe as its sister project and shares many details. Between day, night, the phases of the moon, and other concerns, Thomas must navigate two disparate worlds and the intricacies of dealing with people after having become embittered by his own situation and distanced from others by his questionable humanity.
